heheh im gareth and i come from rossendale rock city in the east of lancashire. i learn russian and french at the university of sheffield. i like all the things down below but many others what didnt spring to mind at the time. did you know that the Roman Emporer Hadrian (as in Hadrian's Wall) was actually Spanish!? well i guess now you do.......

i'm actually on my year abroad in foriegn-land at the moment - so i'm using lj to keep you all posted with what's going on between the ears, if not between the legs!

i'll sum this merry little resume of my persona up with a quote from the great Terry Wogan, who stated after the interval act of the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest "D'ya know, there's a lot to be said for the commercial break". however, for one of the few times in my life, as far as the great man himself is concerned, i beg to differ........ right, time for a ciggie ....
